Pastor Bailey is passionate about helping others better understand how God is revealed in Scripture and how to live into that revelation as participants in the Kingdom of God. By an interesting providence of God, he returned to pastor Brush Run after a dozen years of focusing on academic work.

 

In addition to Brush Run, Gary continues his academic work as an Executive Partner at Kairos University where he teaches, mentors students, and provides a variety of administrative and support services for the university and its partners. Greatly owing to his education at Messiah College (BA), Evangelical Seminary (MA), and Amridge University (PhD), he has a particular love for the Old Testament, spiritual formation, ancient languages, ancient Christianity, and John Wesley.

Gary and his wife Rita have four adult children, a dog, and a cat.
